Home of the famous Petits Pats de Pézenas. (recipe can be found in our Recipes section)
The town dates back to Medieval times & is a wonderful place to visit on a day trip or stay a few days, as it is only 20 minutes to the Mediterranean beaches les plages. The Saturday street market is well worth the trip. You will also find a wonder exhibit in the rear of the church, Collégiale Saint-Jean that is Free & open to the public. There are many interesting craft shops, restaurants & antique shops Brocante. There is also a walking tour that takes you to the Jewish ''Ghetto'' section that used to have gates closed from Dusk to Dawn.
